This week has been a very busy week in the primary years. Last night, the doors to the Years 5 & 6 classrooms were open for the girls to bring their mums and dads to school and show them the wonderful learning opportunities they have participated in.
The girls proudly showed their assessments, assignments and their tasks in Religion, Art, Maths, English, Science, and Humanities. They also had a chance to play some games and do some quizzes and puzzles.
The guests enjoyed a lovely mass in the McDonald Building with their grandaughters, celebrated by Monsignor Keating, who reminded us all of the value of our grandparents and the special love and wisdom they bring to our lives.
The Year 5 girls sang a beautiful rendition of ‘You Can Count On Me’ by Bruno Mars before a delicious morning tea was served. Morning tea was warmly welcomed by everyone!
Thank you to the parents who helped with the morning tea. The girls, staff and the grandparents very much enjoyed the morning’s events and appreciated the help the parents gave us.
