Professor Maths Visits Santa Maria

Year 5 and 6 classes had a fun mathematical incursion on Wednesday as a part of the Numeracy Day activities. The girls were split into small groups and encouraged to solve numerical puzzles scattered throughout the room. One puzzle solved and they received smarty-pants glasses, two puzzles completed and they were given a genius vest. If they conquered three or more of the activities they were awarded Einstein wigs. The puzzles encouraged team work and taught the girls maths in a quirky, enjoyable environment.
