Year 5s Have a Great Result at the Primary Schools Cross Country
- August 13, 2020

With School Sport WA resuming their events we thought this was the perfect year to enter the Primary Schools Cross Country for the first time.
Our team was selected from the interhouse event held in Week 1. The girls have been training exceptionally hard with Mrs Christie and Mrs Skelton. With great excitement, the squad headed out to UWA Sports Park to compete.
We are extremely excited to share some of the amazing results from the day
Year 5
Jayde Veverka and Melina Gotsis received state selection letters for coming in the top 20.
The Year 5 team won the Year 5 competition for the state. This is an outstanding result and is taken from our best six runners on course.
Year 6
Chloe Dartnall also received a state selection letter for finishing 15th.
Congratulations to all students who attended today’s cross country event. We are very proud of how hard they competed and the fantastic team spirit they showed.
