Pushing Limits – Years 5 & 6 Shine at JIGSSA Athletics
The heat was no match for the determination of our Years 5 and 6 students at the JIGSSA Athletics Carnival! They tackled each event with incredible energy and focus, making the day a true celebration of athleticism and school spirit.
From high-energy track races to powerful field events, our students brought enthusiasm and commitment to every challenge. It was inspiring to see them supporting one another and proudly representing Santa Maria College.
This year’s carnival introduced a new, competition-focused format centred on excellence, and our students embraced it with confidence, rising to the occasion and excelling in every event.
We are thrilled to share Santa Maria College’s fantastic results in the 2024 JIGSSA Athletics:
🏅 Year 5 secured an impressive 5th place
🏅 Year 6 achieved a strong 6th place
We could not be prouder of our students’ hard work, determination, and positivity from start to finish.
