Santa4Santa Day
- November 12, 2020

You could be excused for thinking that Christmas had come early to Santa Maria today. The College was decorated in tinsel, with red and green Christmas decorations everywhere. Instead, students were raising funds for the Christmas Appeal at our annual Santa4Santa Day. Our Service groups set up stalls and activities to raise funds for St Patrick’s, Vinnies, and Shopfront.

The Mercy Walk was a hive of activity during recess and lunch with a range of fun activities and games, including:
- Christmas raffle
- Spin the wheel
- Bauble bobbing
- DIY t-shirt
- Finish the lyrics
- Deliver the presents
- Recycling game
- Chocolate throw game
- Card game
- Throwing activity
- Chocolate raffle
There were also loads of food and gift stalls. Of course, the day would not be the same without Santa Claus and his helpers!

Service Captain Milla Dundas said, “This Christmas event is filled with so much joy and fun whilst being able to raise much-needed funds for those less fortunate in the community who will not have the same Christmas experience as us.”
Christmas time is a time when many families in the community struggle. Students are encouraged to support our annual Christmas Appeal. Items of food, toiletries, and other items can be left in Homeroom or delivered to Student Services.
