Section 44: What Our Girls Have to Say

Our youth of today are truly amazing!

Meet Generation Z, born between 1995 and 2004.  They are global, social, visual and technological, and they want their voices heard. They are the most wired generation in history.  They have the optimism, coupled with ready access to a world of information and a connection to most of humanity. It means young people in 2018 have more knowledge and power than ever before.  We should never underestimate them!

We asked three of our Year 12 Politics and Law students their thoughts on Section 44 of the Constitution – where people with a dual citizenship cannot stand for parliament.  Listen to the video to hear what they had to say.
