Seeking Alumni Speakers for the 2025 Sisterhood Series!
Are you passionate about sharing your career journey and insights with the next generation of young women? We’re seeking alumni guest speakers for the Term 3 Sisterhood Series, which runs from August to early September. While we already have speakers from the accounting and finance sector, we’re especially looking for alumni from other industries, particularly those who graduated within the last 10-15 years.
What is the Sisterhood Series?
The Sisterhood Series connects students from Years 10 to 12 with alumni across diverse career paths, offering insights and inspiration from those who have gone before them. The series aims to provide our students with firsthand knowledge of various careers and industries. The series runs during Terms 2 and 3 every Wednesday and is held in the Careers Room at Santa Maria College.
What Is Involved?
As a guest speaker, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, challenges, and successes with a small group of engaged students. The sessions are designed to be interactive and informative, helping students understand what working in your field is like.
Here’s How You Can Get Involved
If you’re interested in being a guest speaker, please contact our Foundation & Alumni Officer, Chelsea Weaver, at [email protected]. Please include your name and information about your studies and career.
Your contribution as an alumni speaker can make a significant impact on our students’ career aspirations and choices. Join us in inspiring the next generation of leaders!
