We’re calling on Santa Maria College alumni to share their stories for the 2026 edition of Catherine magazine. This special edition will celebrate 180 years of Mercy in Perth and explore how the Mercy spirit continues to influence the lives of Santa Maria women today.
We invite you to share your own story or that of a past classmate who is making a meaningful difference in her community and whose life reflects the values of Mercy.
Whether through your career, volunteering, community involvement, or the everyday ways you support others, we would love to hear how Mercy has influenced the way you live, lead or serve.

Selected contributors will be invited to submit an article of approximately 600 – 1,000 words by Thursday 24 September. Extensions may be arranged if required.

Coming Home – Alumni Celebrate the Cultural Centre
Santa Maria College alumni gathered to celebrate the opening of the College’s new Cultural Centre, reconnecting with classmates and celebrating the role of the arts in the community. The evening featured performances by current students and a 42-member Alumni Choir, highlighting the lifelong connections and shared experiences that continue to bring Old Girls back to the College.
