Sisterhood Series: An Evening with Sandra Boyle

Invitation to Sisterhood Series featuring Sandra Boyle.

We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming session of our Sisterhood Alumni Networking Series. This series is designed to strengthen the bonds within our Santa Maria Sisterhood, fostering a supportive network for sharing wisdom and facilitating mutual growth.

Guest Speaker: Sandra Boyle

We are honoured to announce Sandra Boyle (Class of 1968) as our esteemed speaker for the second session of this series. Sandra is widely recognised across the nation as a pioneer and leader in mediation and negotiation practices, pivotal in reshaping the landscape of legal practice in Australia.

Sandra’s journey began at a time when female representation in law was scarce. Over the years, she established herself not only as a practitioner but also as an educator and influencer in legal academia.

In 2018, Sandra was awarded the Australian Commercial Mediator of the Year by the Australian Centre for Disputes. In 2022, she was awarded the Antoinette Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award by the Women Lawyers of Western Australia.

Her insights and achievements, including her influential role as Registrar at the WA Supreme Court for 25 years, have left a lasting mark on the field. During her time in this role, Sandra played a pivotal role in shaping legal practices in Australia, making substantial contributions to the advancement of mediation and negotiation methods.

Sandra is still practising today as a mediator.
