Student Entrepreneurs: Bella’s Bits and Bobs

The next in our Student Entrepreneurs series is a young student with lots of enthusiasm and a passion for helping others. Year 5 student Bella Brady runs a lolly business called Bella’s Bits & Bobs.

Feeling bored one day, young Bella decided to start up her own business selling lollies to raise money for Telethon, and as a way to make some extra pocket money. Bella splits the proceeds between Telethon and herself.

Every weekend, Bella sets up her stall at the front of her house and sells to neighbours, friends and anyone passing by.

Bella says her biggest challenge so far has been doing the maths, but she’s overcome that by having a piece of paper and pen handy to work out the payments and change.

“My lollies are very cheap. I run my small business every weekend, even if it is raining. I make sure all my lollies are safe and my lollies are always fresh!”, explains Bella.
