Students Shine at the Australian Geography Competition

Santa Maria College students recently participated in the renowned Australian Geography Competition, joining over 73,000 students from more than 700 schools across the country. Organised by the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland and the Australian Geography Teachers’ Association, this competition is a platform for young minds to showcase their geographical knowledge and skills.

With the aim of nurturing their passion for Geography, honing their abilities for future studies, and embracing the opportunity to compete, we proudly entered 60 enthusiastic geographers from Years 7 to 11.
