One of the highlights for our Old Girls’ each the year is the Golden Girls’ Luncheon. Alumni from 1940 to 1967 return to the College to celebrate their connection with each other.

Welcome to another edition of the Santa Maria Old Girls’ Blog. Firstly, I would like to welcome our newest OGA members to the fold – the Class of 2018!

Welcome Back Class of 1968!

Today, the College celebrated the Class of 1968 fifty-year reunion. Forty ladies from far and wide reunited and spent the morning reminiscing about their times spent at the College.

Beyond SMC

Last year, the Old Girls’ Association (OGA) surveyed past students from 2012 – 2016 on areas they felt the College could improve on, in preparing them for the ‘Big Wide World.’ The OGA decided to organise and host workshops addressing some of these areas

Our School Days

“It was already getting dark when the car stopped in front of a big cream coloured building overlooking the Swan River. As I got out, I could not help but notice the picturesque location of my new school, Santa Maria Ladies’ College in Attadale.”

Mentoring Program

The Year 9 IGNITE students have been offered an exciting opportunity, to be a part of Santa Maria College’s inaugural Mentor Program. The Mentor Program is a one to one working relationship between a Santa Maria College alumni and one of our Year 9 IGNITE students.

Old Girls’ Association High Tea

On Friday 5 May, the Old Girls’ Association held their Mother Daughter High Tea at the College. This event is held annually for old girls who currently have daughters at the College. Thirty mothers and their daughters enjoyed an afternoon celebrating the special relationship between mothers and daughters.
