House spirit is alive and well at Santa Maria and the inter-house volleyball competition was an event not to miss!Â
Beautiful weather, great House spirit and some incredible performances ensured today’s Cross Country was a great success. The support and encouragement shown by each House to their runners was outstanding.
This week we had a chat with new Head of Sport, Olivia Gamble, after the success of the Interhouse Swimming Carnival, her first major sports event for the year.Â

One of the strengths of the College is our strong House system. All large schools need smaller places where students feel special. This occurs in Year groups and Homeroom groups, and to a very large extent within the eight Houses.
The WA Athletics Stadium was buzzing as girls from Years 5 – 12 arrived to compete in over 360 events. It was fantastic to see so many students competing in a range of track and field events and team games throughout the day.
