Peta Christensen (Class of 1989) transitioned from journalism to a career in permaculture and sustainability, ultimately dedicating over two decades to community food projects in Melbourne. Her work at Open Table addresses food waste and food insecurity, creating spaces for people to connect. Inspired by her Santa Maria College values, Peta brings compassion to every project.
