Today, the staff of Santa Maria traced the journey up the Swan River made by the Mercy Sisters. The aim was to bring to life for the participants the story of the early Sisters.
Santa Maria would like to introduce, and welcome Mercy Sister, Sr Breda O’Reilly to the College this year. Sister Breda will be at the College one day a week to talk to staff and students, to visit the sick, to give talks when needed and to support the Santa Maria Community at all times.Â
In November 2018, Jim Watkins, College Business Manager of 12 years, retired. Stepping into this demanding position is Tim Stewart. Tim comes to the College from the University of Western Australia, where he held the position of Faculty General Manager, Faculty of Arts.
