The Year 12 ACCESS Transition Program is a unique opportunity for our students to participate in workshops, which will assist their transition to life beyond school.
Our Year 11.5 students are well into starting their Year 12 courses this term and are now the official leaders of the College. The girls were excited today when they were officially handed over the Year 12 Alfresco Area during a ceremony, which included the cutting of a ribbon by Principal Jen Oaten and Head Girl Emma Robinson, to officially open the area to the girls.
On Sunday 10 June, the Fremantle Sailing Club was filled with Year 12 students and their mothers for the traditional Mother Daughter Breakfast. This event follows on from the Year 11 Father Daughter Dinner. It was a lovely morning for the girls to celebrate the importance of mothers and other special women in the lives of our Year 12 students.
Last Friday, the Year 12 Outdoor Education class completed a section of the Bibbulmun Track as part of their Bushwalking Expedition. The expedition was modified from an overnight exercise to one day, due to the weather forecast. They were extremely lucky and enjoyed perfect hiking conditions on the Friday.
