The Year 12 Ball – An Unforgettable Night
The Santa Maria College Ball is always a highlight on the calendar, and this year was no exception. Held on Saturday 1 February, at the Pan Pacific Hotel, the event was a celebration of friendship, fun and unforgettable moments. Everyone enjoyed an exceptional formal three-course dinner, and after hours of getting ready, everyone was eager to enjoy the meal.
With over 360 young people in attendance, the event showcased the spirit of the Santa Maria community.
Dean of Year 12 Lisa Taylor shared, “The Ball has definitely set the tone for the 2025 year. The girls were inclusive, gracious, respectful and had a wonderful time.”
The dance floor was the heart of the celebration, with students twirling, laughing, and making memories. Even as sore feet set in, the excitement kept everyone moving, and they didn’t want the night to end.

With summer tans glowing, nails polished, and shoes sparkling, every guest looked stunning. It was truly a night of elegance and style.
Setting the Tone for 2025
The ball set a beautiful tone for the year ahead. It was a celebration of inclusivity, kindness, and joy, values that will guide the Year 12 students as they navigate their final year at Santa Maria College. As the night ended, it was clear that these memories would last a lifetime and were a reminder of the bonds that unite the students and their bright future ahead.
