Virtual Reality Comes to the Classroom

The Year 9 Cinema and Photography class visited Hosier Lane, the Louvre and the Sistine Chapel today – all in one lesson! Students were trying our out new 24-headset immersive virtual reality experience using ClassVR. With this system, the teacher can guide the students through 360-degree landscapes, video, models and other wonders. Students were given a briefing first and shown how to ensure they kept themselves safe throughout the lesson.

To finish up, the class went diving with sharks together and you could hear the screams of joy – or was it fright – as the shark slowly glided past their faces.
