With the aid of a little fairy dust, Wendy is off with Peter Pan to Neverland for an awfully big adventure which she hopes will also give her the chance to rediscover the key to her parents’ lost happiness. She’ll have to contend with a fractious fairy called Tink, give the Lost Boys a run for their money, face up to the dastardly Captain Hook and his pirate crew, and ultimately learn what it means to grow up.
Commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company, this adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s much-loved story of Peter Pan puts Wendy firmly centre stage, in an interpretation that is refreshingly modern but never loses the charm of the original story.
Wendy & Peter Pan is showing from Sunday 25 March to Wednesday 28 March at 6.30 pm. Tickets are $20 per person. The show will take place on the Figure 8. Make sure to bring a picnic rug.
