What’s Happening in Boarding : Week 5, Term 1, 2021
- March 3, 2021

Transport
Uber policy does not allow boarders to use their platform – ‘on the Uber terms of reference they are not allowed to carry someone under the age of 18, nor are they officially allowed to have their own account, nor travel on someone else’s account if they are not in the Uber as well’
Shebah is a great option for girls with rides to be booked in advance using the Shebah app. The local Shebah drivers know Santa Maria Boarding as some of our girls have used these drivers in the past. For more information please click here.
Boarding Community Mass
Please save the date for Sunday 28 March when we will be having a Community Mass in the Chapel at 5.00 pm. All boarders are expected to be at this Mass and we invite all Boarding community members to join us.
Dress Length
Is your daughter’s dress at knee length? If not, please ensure it is at knee length. The girls can also ask for their Boarding Supervisor to check and also alter if necessary.
Off Campus Trips
Boarders are to be in full College uniform (dress, socks, shoes, hat) or in respectful casual clothing when leaving the Boarding community. There is not to be a mix of College and casual clothing and footwear.
School Items
All students of the College are asked to bring their school things to and from school in their College bag and are expected to use their locker for storage of school things. Boarders are also asked to use their College bag and locker each day.
Unwell Boarders
If a boarder is unwell with cold or flu like symptoms they must not be at school or in Boarding until they are symptom free.
