What’s Happening in Boarding : Week 9, Term 1, 2021
- March 30, 2021

Boarding Week is in May
- We need a photo of each boarder at home for our presentation to the College on Boarding.
- The photo is to really show where each student lives. The photo can have pets and family in it as well.
- Boarders can also send a video of where they live, working at home.
- Please send your photos to Tracy Webster at [email protected]
Broome… see you there!
Tracy cannot wait for the next visit to families of current, prospective and past boarders on Monday 17 May at the Mangrove Hotel from 5.00 pm.
What is happening where you live?
Boarding would love to come to visit you where you live. If there is a big event happening where you live let Tracy know and she will do what she can to get there. She would also love to come your way one weekend and join you, and past & future members of our Boarding community, for a lunch or dinner at your local.
Recreation Activities
The girls were all very busy this weekend with lots of recreation activities on offer. We hear from some of them on what they got up to.
‘Friday afternoon we made Easter hats. We had lots of fun making them using things like card, ribbon, plastic eggs, feathers, stickers, paint and so many other things. They looked awesome! It was very messy but I’m sure we will all look great at the Easter dinner later on in the week.
Alice Fowler, Year 7

‘The St Brigid’s game night was so much fun and full of great activities like bean bag toss and basketball. We got to meet with other schools and hang out with old friends. Overall, it was a great night and look forward to something similar in the future.’
Emma Smith, Year 8
‘On Friday night the Year 7s and 8s attended a games night at St Brigid’s. We were separated into two groups and went around to different games such as; beanbag toss, Jenga, connect four, limbo, basketball, ping-pong and twister. For supper at St Brigid’s we ate Domino’s pizza and had soft drink. We got back to SMC at nearly 10.00 pm and all went straight to bed, we were exhausted! ‘
