Year 10 Design
- November 28, 2019

The Year 10 Design students have been exploring interior and surface design this term. They began their research by choosing a photograph of a room in a home magazine. This picture became the starting point for a serious of motif drawings that were translated into a pattern design. The girls carefully traced their patterns onto canvas fabric and added colour by painting the surface. The pieces of canvas were then sewn together to create fantastic functional pot plant covers that would suit their original room photograph.
The students have had a great time exploring pattern and interior design which has resulted in amazing final pieces.
