Year 11 Students Now Officially Year 12s
- October 30, 2020

The Year 11s officially commenced Year 12 this week. To mark the occasion, the girls were presented with their red hat bands and much-anticipated leavers’ jackets. The surprise presentation of their jackets yesterday was met with much excitement by the girls, with many of them commenting that it now feels like they are in Year 12.

Feedback
The girls also received feedback on their Year 11 examinations this week and will commence the study of their new courses on Monday. During this time each student has met with a course counsellor to discuss their progress in Year 11 and determine some strategies to further improve on in Year 12. This is a very useful process and time for reflection for the girls on what went well and what changes they can make to further improve their study habits to ensure future success in their studies.

Student Leadership CouncilÂ
On Thursday evening the 2021 Student Leadership Council met for their first official meeting to discuss their plans for the coming year and the focus for their leadership. Following this meeting the girls enjoyed a liturgy, welcoming them to leadership followed by dinner in the Community Room. There was a great atmosphere at both of these events as the leaders bonded as a group and made plans for the many events and activities, they wish to hold for the College in Year 12. Watch out this term for some fun Friday events!
Finally
We wish the class of 2021 all the best as they commence their Year 12 studies and their first round of assessments over the coming weeks.
