On Friday 4 August, Year 8 students enjoyed the Year 8 Bush Dance with the boys from Aquinas. The girls had many hours to get ready and back to the school just before 7.00 pm. We all arrived excited and unsure about what a “bush dance” would be like.

We really enjoyed being able to socialise and meet new people and participated in many different dance styles, such as Russian dancing and the typical swing your partner around your arm. It was great to  change partners many times during the night either by choosing, being chosen or moving around in a circle so that we could meet more people. The night was very enjoyable and we all can’t wait for the Year 9 social next year!
