Year 9 Social

Once the music started and the lights went down, we all went into the mosh pit. Everyone started to introduce themselves to new people then, which helped us socialise and get to know each other better. The music got very loud, so talking became difficult. Everyone was dancing and screaming at the top of their lungs. The DJ played amazing music, which suited all interests and made the night so much fun, he put on a great light show too.
By the end of the two hours, everyone was exhausted and voices were lost but it was all worth it in the end. We all finished off the night talking with the boys and saying our goodbyes while we waited for our parents to take us home. Many of them had been to the Parent Event held at College, so they had had fun too.
We would all like to thank Ms House for her organisation of the social. It was the most amazing social we have had. We would also like to thank our Homeroom Teachers for their help during the social; we appreciated everything you did. We hope the Aquinas students had a time and we would like to thank Mrs Virgo and the Aquinas teachers as well.
The Year 9 social was an amazing experience and we can’t wait till next year.
