Young Vinnies Called To Action

Our Young Vinnies group raised funds during Term 2 to support Zonta House Refuge Association. Zonta House provides safety and support to women who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing domestic violence.

The girls purchased cleaning products in support of women in need. Our leaders, Abbey and Lauren Winship, dropped the donations at Zonta House yesterday. They were gratefully received by Zonta House Communications & Engagement Officer Ella Kent. Ella wrote, “We are beyond thrilled. Thank you for the love and care that has gone into putting these together.”

Young Vinnies is a Service based co-curricular group at the College. The group is called to respond to those in need. The group promotes and supports the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society and conducts fundraising activities like our Winter, Christmas and Street Appeals and assists women in need at Zonta House.

Well done, girls, what a great initiative.
