From the President: March 2023
Welcome to the March edition of the OGA Blog.
2023 has kicked off on a high note with our first event, the 2022/2023 Reunion, which saw hundreds of alumni return to the College a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was electric as women from 12 classes came together for a night of reminiscing, fun, and laughter.
The classes celebrating were:
2018 and 2017 for their 5-year reunion
2013 and 2012 for their 10-year reunion
2003 and 2002 for their 20-year reunion
1993 and 1992 for their 30-year reunion
1983 and 1982 for their 40-year reunion
1973 and 1972 for their 50-year reunion
Seeing the different year groups mingling and enjoying each other’s company was lovely, making the event a huge success. It was wonderful to see some mothers and daughters there together, celebrating their respective reunions.
We extend our gratitude to the College for their invaluable support in hosting such a fantastic event and the OGA committee and members for their assistance.
We’re excited to announce that the much-loved OGA Movie Night will be back in July. We’ll keep you posted on further updates and upcoming events and service opportunities.
Until next time,
Gemma Varone (2009), President
