BOARDING
Since its earliest days, Santa Maria College has provided a safe and nurturing environment for girls from remote and rural regions in Western Australia.
Welcome to the Boarding Community at Santa Maria College! For over eight decades, our College has been dedicated to providing quality education for rural students. With 150 boarding students from diverse backgrounds, our thriving community offers a warm and supportive environment.
Led by our Director of Boarding and dedicated Boarding Supervisors, our team goes beyond supervision. They provide emotional warmth, guidance, and support to ensure each child feels valued and secure in their home away from home. Our pastoral care philosophy is the foundation of our boarding community.
ENRICHING JOURNEY
At Santa Maria, we understand that transitioning to a boarding school can be challenging. That is why we have designed our boarding environment to make it as comfortable as possible. Our boarding facilities are not just spaces to live and learn but also platforms for social engagement, entertainment, and personal growth.
Our campus features four uniquely designed boarding houses that serve as living quarters, study spaces, and recreational areas. With everything our boarders need within reach, they can focus on their academic goals while enjoying a warm and welcoming environment.
Santa Maria’s campus offers a perfect blend of activity and tranquillity. Our students have access to a range of study facilities to support their academic pursuits. There are also plenty of recreational areas where they can unwind and have fun. For those seeking moments of quiet reflection, there are peaceful corners tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
At Santa Maria, boarding is more than just a residential program. It is an enriching journey of personal growth and memorable experiences. Join our boarding community and embark on this unique journey with us.

I’M GLAD WE HAD THE TIMES TOGETHER JUST TO LAUGH AND SING A SONG, SEEMS LIKE WE JUST GOT STARTED AND THEN BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THE TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER WERE GONE.
