From the President: December 2023
It’s hard to believe that it’s already December, with Christmas just around the corner. While it is a busy time of year, it is also the perfect opportunity for reflection and to give thanks for the many blessings we have. I hope you all get to take some time out with loved ones and enjoy a much-needed break.
It has been a great month for the OGA. Our Golden Girls returned to the College for their annual catch-up and, as always, it was a splendid event. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special occasion.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our members for their contributions this year. Big or small, it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Thank you also to the OGA committee and to the College staff who support us.
I know that 2024 will be an exciting year for the OGA, and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our events. The first one for next year is the reunion on Saturday 10 February, for the classes of 2019, 2014, 2004, 1994, 1999, 1984 and 1974. We are so excited to welcome you back to the College.
On behalf of the committee, I’d like to wish each of you, and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
