The Curtin UniReady Enabling Program is an enabling pathway to help students gain entry into any Western Australia University by providing them with a notional ATAR of 70 and English competency (Curtin’s minimum entry requirements for undergraduate courses).
It is designed to prepare students for university studies. The program aims to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed at a tertiary level. Participants will be introduced to university level study, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills and become familiar with university resources and expectations.
The UniReady Program is open to Year 12 students and runs for a full year, starting in Term 4 of Year 11. Students will complete four units over including Academic Writing, Communications, Introduction to Health Sciences and Introduction to Humanities. Students spend a day at Curtin University in February, listening to Curtin future student advisors and participating on a campus tour.
Students will be invited into the program after the Year 11 Semester 1 exams and a parent information session will be held on term 3 to present the program and answer any questions that you may have.
