Year 6 Students Reflect and Celebrate
In celebration of the end of primary school, our Year 6 girls enjoyed a day of celebration and reflection last week. This rite of passage into high school has become a tradition here at Santa Maria
The day began with the girls sharing Mass with their parents, teachers and peers followed by a presentation of graduation certificates from Jennifer Oaten.
The girls then moved on to their Reflection Day, where they were involved in a variety of activities which encouraged the girls to think about their foundations, who their support people are, reflecting on the skills they have developed and who they are becoming.
To complete the day, the girls were invited to an afternoon celebration, where they relaxed with their friends, enjoyed some down time, had lots of memorable photos and generally danced their hearts away.
The girls finished the day weary, happy and ready for their move into secondary school.
