Guitar Students Showcase their Talents
Music forms an integral part of school life at Santa Maria. Guitar is just one of the many instrumental classes on offer at Santa Maria. The Music Department recently hosted a concert recital with over 20 of our young guitarists. The girls are currently learning with our talented guitar tutors of Natalie Ripepi, Nicki Rose and Taylor Cutts.
The girls showed great bravery in conquering their nerves and performed brilliantly. For some, it was their first recital, which is a great achievement. The evening also featured performances by a Year 5 group, as well as the College’s Guitar Ensemble.
The students did a great job on the night and really supported each other. Well done, everyone!
A special thank you to the parents of our talented guitarists and vocalists for their support throughout the year, and to the staff of the Music Department for organising the evening.
