Mirror Mirror: Reality vs Illusion
The Year 11 Visual Arts students are working on artworks in response to the theme ‘Mirror Mirror’. They have been exploring the concept of reality versus illusion, using their reflections as a starting point.
American painter Eric White has been an influential artist, as well as sculptor Anish Kapoor.
Each student is responding in a unique and creative way to the theme, working in a variety of mediums – oil paint, acrylic paint, watercolour paint, Â lead and coloured pencil, metal and clay.
