Are you an entrepreneur? We need you!
When you were in school, did you have hopes and dreams of one day starting your own business? Perhaps you had a brilliant idea in mind, but didn’t exactly know where to start?
You may have seen that the College recently launched its young entrepreneur’s program for students, Women In Business.
As educators of young women, we want to ensure that our students are provided with the tools and opportunities to succeed in entrepreneurial roles.
The Women In Business program does just that. It gives students the skills and confidence to take their ideas and make them commercially viable.
In addition to workshops and hub sessions, students engage with guest speakers who have built their own business from the ground up, from parents to alumni, and other community members.
As old girls of Santa Maria, we would love for you to take part in this program, discussing and sharing advice on your entrepreneurial adventure.Â
Do you have your own business? No matter how big or how small your contribution to this space, we would love to hear from you.
As you would already know, statistics illustrate that women are still underrepresented in entrepreneurship. We would love your help in closing the gender gap, by encouraging students to pursue their dreams.
Join the likes of alumni Maggie Cripps, and the Northcott sisters, who share our belief that having more women in business is crucial to a prosperous society.Â
