JIGSSA Cross Country Carnival
A thunderstorm may have been forecast, but the sunshine came out for our Years 5 & 6 students who competed in the JIGSSA Cross Country Carnival, held at Alderbury Reserve.
With perfect racing conditions, the girls were well prepared for the morning and were ready to leave it out on the course.
The Year 6s finished second overall, with very close results. The Year 5s placed a very respectable fifth, in what was considered a very tough competition.
A massive congratulations goes to the girls, who all ran fantastic races and represented the College beautifully. The Santa Spirit was certainly strong from both competitors and spectators.
Bring on next year’s race!
