Taylah to Dance at Performing Arts Perspectives

Performing Arts Perspectives.

The Performing Arts Perspectives is an important event showcasing the talent of Western Australian students in the performing arts area. The works chosen, demonstrate the outstanding creativity and excellence across dance, drama and music. The highest performing WACE students are invited to audition and from these auditions, performers are chosen to reflect the range and scope of the 2019 graduates.

Jamie Rooke, Taylah’s Year 12 Dance teacher had the following to say:

“Taylah is a true testament to what it means to work hard. She is a perfectionist, in the best kind of way, and always aimed to better her work. She wanted to push boundaries, with regards to her practical work, but always came back to the basics and the fundamentals of her craft. The basis of her Original Solo Composition, exploring dance in 2D & 3D form, inspired by Picasso’s work, epitomises the depths of her creativity. I am extremely proud of Taylah and all of her achievements in Dance and at Santa Maria, and feel honoured to have been her teacher.

The 2019 Performing Arts Perspectives is on Wednesday 27 March from 7.30 pm at the Perth Concert Hall.

Tickets are $22.00 and can be purchased here.
