A Celebration of Easter

As Lent draws to a close, I’m reminded of its deep meaning for us all. Lent isn’t just about giving up things; it’s a time for self-reflection, spiritual growth and getting ready for Easter.

Lent feels like a journey for the soul, a chance to pause, listen, and reconnect with our faith. It’s a time to face our mistakes and embrace God’s love.

Life gets busy, and Lent helped us refocus on what’s important. It’s like clearing away distractions to hear God better.

Today, our Easter liturgy, led by the Student Ministry Team, highlighted how the Easter story relates to our lives. It reminded us that bullying and exclusion cause pain, echoing Jesus’ suffering. But when we turn to God, we find hope and joy. Using dance, poetry, narratives and images, the joy of the Easter story unfolded in a meaningful and relevant way.

As Easter approaches, let’s welcome God’s grace into every part of our lives. May we be open to change and meet the Risen Lord with grateful hearts.

Wishing you a Happy and Holy Easter.
