A Sizzling Success: 2024 Parent Sundowner

The scorching heat didn’t seem to deter parents as they gathered for a wonderful event on the Terrace overlooking the picturesque Swan River last Friday night. Despite the sweltering heat, over 600 parents turned up to make the evening a resounding success. It was an evening filled with friendship, laughter, and shared experiences, showcasing the strong sense of community at Santa Maria.

As the sun dipped low, casting a golden hue over the College, parents mingled and enjoyed the stunning views. The Terrace provided the perfect backdrop for catching up with old friends and making new connections.

The hot weather did little to dampen the spirits of those in attendance. Cold refreshments were readily available, providing much-needed relief from the heat. Delicious snacks and finger foods were also on offer, including Dale’s Curry House, which is always popular and ensures that no one goes hungry throughout the evening.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event a success. The Parent Sundowner was not only an opportunity for parents to relax and unwind but it highlighted the importance of community involvement in creating a nurturing and supportive environment.
