JIGSSA Cross Country 2019

In warmer than expected conditions, the Year 5 and 6 Cross Country teams raced at the JIGSSA Cross Country carnival on Tuesday morning. They have been training very hard during the term and the team was selected based on their Interhouse Cross Country results and their commitment to training.  The girls are to be very proud of their individual and team performances and ran exceptionally well on the day representing Santa Maria College.

The result of their hard work over the term, brought some great results with the Year 5 team finishing second and the Year 6 team finishing sixth. Congratulations to Niamh Jones in Year 5 for her individual performance on the day in finishing third.
