The Boarding Leaders Forum was an event held at Perth College on Sunday evening, where our boarding leaders, Alice Gosper, Grace McLean, Paige Lobwein, Erin Connaughton, and Bella Bryant, joined students from various boarding schools in Perth to enhance their leadership skills and expand their social networks. Aimee Deane, the Boarding Coordinator, accompanied them to the forum.

As leadership formation is an important aspect of student development, we were grateful for the opportunity to attend the forum. The dinner provided a unique experience for our leaders to interact with new people and learn about different approaches to leadership from various boarding schools. They gained new insights and ideas to incorporate into their respective boarding communities, both individually and collaboratively.

The forum began with guest speaker Jazz Graham who shared her experiences and insights on leadership work in the police force and finance. Following the speaker session, our leaders had dinner with other attendees, providing an excellent opportunity for socialising. Finally, the forum concluded with group activities that encouraged the formation of new ideas.

Overall, our boarding leaders found the Forum to be an incredible experience and look forward to attending similar events in the future.
