Year 6 Winter Games 2021

The Year 6 Winter Games is an opportunity for the girls to participate and compete in the JIGSSA competition in their chosen sport. The Year 6 students ventured out across three different venues this week, to play netball, basketball, soccer, and hockey.

Students were busy and very active, with fixtures played throughout the day against other JIGSSA schools. We are extremely proud of the Year 6s. They played with great sportsmanship and interacted with their peers, whilst participating in a new sport for some, and for others in the sport they love!

Whilst a focus is on participation, three of our teams came out victorious on the day and were awarded the JIGSSA pennants for netball, basketball, and soccer.

A fantastic effort and one the entire Year 6 cohort are to be proud of.
