Year 12 student, Caitlin Crowley was awarded a Highly Commended in the Year 12 section at the Angelico Art awards this week. Caitlin was absolutely thrilled and received a prize consisting of Jacksons art products.

Year 12 ATAR art students were working hard with West Australian artist Andy Quilty. The students worked on how to loosen their drawing styles using mixed media.

Years 11 and 12 Art students enjoyed an excursion to the Art Gallery of Western Australia this week, to see the Year 12 Perspectives, The Corsini and contemporary exhibitions.
Fashion Illustrator Michelle Pike delivered a dynamic four hour workshop to Visual Art staff who will be working with students in Term 2 to design and create garments, headpieces and accessories for the Fashion Parade in Term 4.

Santa Maria students received a number of awards last night at the Atwell Youth Art Awards and Year 12 student, Ava Gamblin has been accepted into the 25under25 Art Award and exhibition, run by the City of Fremantle. The exhibition opens on Friday 14 July from 6.00 pm in the Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery in Fremantle.
